The legendary single-cylinder Manx 500 was ridden to victory in the Isle of Man TT by the intrepid Geoff Duke, who was awarded for the World Championship in 1950 and 1951.
Italeri has real passion for motorcycles and this is shown in its range of plastic motorcycle kits.
Two scales are available 1/6 scale and 1/9 scale.
    1/6 Scale Bikes
These produce an impressive display item once completed. The size, coupled with detail, make them an ideal item for any motorcycle fan.
The 1/6 kit includes both plastic and die cast components. All components come in base colours of each part of the bike making painting optional. For ease of construction very little gluing is required with many parts simply clipping together making these models ideal for those with little model making experience.
The packaging includes dynamic images of the model and actual full size bike, useful for referencing. A windowed section displays key parts which rounds off the presentation making it an ideal gift item.
    1/9 Scale Bikes
Featuring mainly racing bikes, this range includes some of the most popular championship motorcycles past and present including those ridden by World Champions Rossi and Stoner.
Just like the 1/6 scale bikes, the smaller 1/9 scale bikes are designed to be simple and straight forward to build, ideal for a beginner, but with enough potential to challenge an experienced modeller.
The kits comprise of plastic parts and rubber tyres.
Glue and paint are required to construct the models, which is available from all good model shops.
