This is a Beautiful Mattel, Talking, Chatty Cathy Reproduction Doll. She is From the Early 2000's.
Made of Vinyl and Plastic, She is approximately 19" Tall and is Marked "Mattel" on her upper back.
She has been Freshly Cleaned and is in Excellent, Pre-Owned Condition.
She has a Hard Vinyl Head With Beautiful, Rooted Strawberry Blonde Hair. It is Long, Full and Freshly Curled. Her Bangs are Long and Full.
She has Bright, Very Blue Sleep Eyes. Her Eyes are Clean and Clear and They Open and Close as Intended. She has All of her Long, Black Eyelashes.
She has Gray/Taupe Colored Eyebrows and Freckles, Bright Deep Pink Cheek Color and Lip Color with White Painted On Teeth. Her Face Paint is Bright and Well Noticed. It is all Original. No Rubs and No Fading Noted.
She has a Hard Plastic Body with Hard Vinyl Limbs. She has All Fingers and Toes.
She has Beautiful Tan Coloring with All Components Being Uniform in Color. No Fading.
She Works and Talks Loud and Clear.
She has a Speaker on her Chest. Her Talker is a Bit Different from the 1960's Chatty Cathy Dolls. She Takes Batteries (included). You Turn the Switch to the "On" Position and then Gently Pull Her Magic Ring. This Pull String is only meant to come out about a quarter of the way of what you are used to pulling. It Is Not Meant to be Pulled All the Way Out Like the 1960's Dolls. If you do not pull the magic ring correctly, you will have to pull it again.
Please handle this magic ring and pull string with care. Nearing 20 - The doll is no longer brand new and should be gently handled.  I believe when these dolls came out they were advertised for 14+ and were not intended to be handled by small children.
Her Pretty Reproduction Gingham Dress Set and All her Accessories are Brand New, Out-Of-Package.
This is a Complete Ensemble.
Her Dress is a Mint Green and White Gingham Print with a White Collar and White Donut Snaps in the Back.
Her White Eyelet Apron has the Tie-Backs.
Her White Nylon Underpants have Lace Trim.
Her White Lacey Socks Have a Blue/Green Rosette Sewed to Each Sock.
Her White Shiny, Patent Leather Mary Jane Style Shoes Have a Side Snap and a Soft Sole. These are Old Store Stock and Have Never Been Worn on Another Doll. There are, However, Two Spots, probably from storage.
And Last, But Not Least, is a Mint Green, Lacey Head Band with a Generously Sized Flower on the Top.
Vintage Imperfections ~ All I notice is that her Right Arm is Swingy. As She is Not a Brand New, Out-of-Box Doll, she has been handled. Please Expect Some Minor Signs of Age and Usage.
Her Pictures Were taken in Natural Sun Light Some With Flash and Some Without.
No Color Saturation is Ever Used in Our Pictures.
