Chatty Cathy 1998 Reproduction Doll Blue Dress.
Her dress is her original Mattel dress she was sold in.  She was part of a Mattel Chatty Cathy display in a doll shop so she did not come in a box or with paper work.  She does have the 1998 reproduction neck stamp.  From an adult owners collection.  Never played with.
Her clothes are a tad dusty and there is some dirt on her socks from storage but her outfit is 100% original and appears complete.  Her eyes are starting to pink from age but they are still blue on the outer edges.  Her hair is a mess from storage and needs a washing but I will leave that to the new owner since it can be heat set to the style of choice.  (I have done this with other dolls from this time period and it is the best for permanently styling the hair.)
I have other Chatty Cathy dolls and custom repro clothes from the same collection.  I have other variations of this classic outfit but in non original colors such as yellow, green and purple!  Complete with matching repro shoes and hair bows!
Please save this doll from being played with by my daughters!  They are too rough for these collectors items!
